Ben "the Wood Man" Laing was born in London, England in 1975, and moved to Florida in '81. He started playing music around age 13 and formed his first band in 1991. Since then, he has played in a variety of bands and genres, on a few different instruments. He also is a songwriter, check his stuff out or contact him at My Space. Ben’s day job is as a Supervisor of Construction at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, where he currently resides. He joined the Wildcard band initially in 1997 when Dennis Laing (yes they’re related) left to join the Persuaders. And now after a 257 week vacation Ben is Back.
